PROMPT: "Nostalgia": Reflect on memories from the past, capturing moments of nostalgia and sentimentality.
Our program invites budding artists and wordsmiths to explore their creativity, share ideas, and develop their skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Here's how it works: At the beginning a month in advance, a prompt will be posted on our website, Facebook, and flyers. You can also sign up to receive emails of the prompt at the first meeting. The monthly prompt is carefully curated to inspire your artistic or literary endeavors. Prompts may range from thought-provoking questions to intriguing themes or visual stimuli, encouraging participants to think outside the box and unleash their imagination.
Throughout the month, members will have the freedom to interpret the prompt in any art form they choose, whether it's through painting, photography, sculpture, poetry, short stories, or any other medium that ignites their passion. This flexibility allows participants to explore their preferred artistic expressions and push their creative boundaries.
As the month progresses, participants will work on capturing their interpretation of the prompt, pouring their thoughts and emotions into their creations. They'll have the opportunity to experiment, refine their skills, and explore new techniques as they bring their ideas to life.
Then on the first Thursday of the new month, all members will come together for a lively and interactive meeting where they'll have the chance to showcase their artwork and writing pieces. During this gathering, participants will engage in constructive discussions, sharing insights into their creative processes, discussing the connections between their pieces and the prompt, and offering feedback and support to their fellow club members.
